The DENOVAN Lairdship has a most illustrious history within Scottish families, going back to well before the Norman Conquest, Denovan was the site of an ancient fort of the Celtic peoples preserved in the name, 'dun avon', fort by the river.
The principal historical seat of the Denovans is the Lands of Denovan, near Dunipace, 7 miles from Stirling. This website provides information to all members regarding the history, heraldry and tartan. It exists to assist in the organisation of House Gatherings, Dinners and Events. I hope that it facilitates communication between our Clan/Family worldwide.
